Job Role
Role Overview: To support the Deputy Director - Fundraising in bridging the communication gap in official meetings and events, documents, internally and externally and supporting the administrative needs of the Deputy Director - Fundraising and the team.
Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Interpreter to Deputy Director - Fundraising
Key Activities
- Act as the point of contact between the Deputy Director - Fundraising and the internal and external stakeholders especially when the Deputy Director - Fundraising is unavailable.
- Supporting the Deputy Director - Fundraising as interpreter in meetings/briefings, workshops and events conducted mainly in Thai language.
- Attending meetings, briefings and/or workshops conducted in Thai on behalf of the Deputy Director - Fundraising and narrate the key discussion points in English to the Deputy Director - Fundraising.
- Draft internal and external communications and correspondence in Thai for the Deputy Director - Fundraising.
Maintaining Prompt Scheduling
Key Activities
- Maintain an accurate and detailed calendar for the Deputy Director - Fundraising, manage and log incoming scheduling requests, re-schedule meetings upon request, proactively communicate changes, and anticipate and respond to scheduling conflicts.
- Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings for the Deputy Director - Fundraising, including notifying attendees, reserving conference rooms, handling logistics, drafting and distributing agendas, and taking minutes
Administrative Support
Key Activities
- Preparing expenses claims and advance documents for the Deputy Director - Fundraising and submission to the Director’s approval and Finance processing
- Assisting Fundraising team in vendor’s invoice submission for Deputy Director - Fundraising for approval and Finance for processing
- Manage all travel arrangements and reservations for the Fundraising department.
Other tasks and responsibilities
Key Activities
- Support fundraising events and/or gala as part of the organizing committee.
- Participate and/support other departments events on a voluntary basis.
- Perform any other relevant duties as assigned.

Person Specification
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations or Business Administration, or related qualification.
Essential Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a multi-cultural working environment, preferably an NGO.
- Experience in bi-lingual interpretation in Thai and English.
- Experience in providing administration support to all levels.
